Black Techno

There was once a strange time in human history.

For five years in the 1990s a mysterious portal was opened and the world saw a surge of black artists doing Techno music.

Let’s remember some of these artists:

- Technotronic with Pump Up the Jam
- Corona with Rythm of the Night
- Reel 2 Real with I Like to Move It
- La Bouche with Be My Lover
- C+C Music Factory with Everybody Dance Now
- Rozalla with Everybody’s Free
- Snap! with I Got the Power

After this bizzare era, not again did black people choose to flock to the Techno industry. In fact they completely stayed away from it and dedicated themselves mainly to Hip-Hop. Thank the Lord...
...this disturbing portal remained forever closed.

Wow, that's pretty ignorant. Most (if not all) of those bands were created by white European DJs/producers who just used black singers as the front for their music. On the other hand, one of the most remarkable pages in the history of the American techno music was written by the black DJs from Detroit. And how about Prodigy, Massive Attack, Tricky, LTJ Bukem, DJ Spooky and MANY other MAJOR black musicians in electronic genre? Do your homework...

Techno is a subgroup of electronic music. I was referring to techno as the post states, not electronic music in general. I love Felix the Housecat btw
